Phil Ivey

Archive for 'Interview'

In this interview by Poker Superstars, Phil Ivey looks completely himself — and relaxed. He’s making sense — and I suggest you LISTEN to the man in this one.

A little quote I feel is typical to Phil:

“A lot of players I play with, when they’re losing they play really really terrible. When the guy is winning, I might quit like a few hours. Another night, when the guy is losing, I might play for two days. You know, it all depends.”

You’re right, Phil.

The ever so sexy Kimberly Lansing interviewing our man Phil Ivey at the WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamond World Poker Classic at the Bellagio for worldpokertour.com. All the time during this interview, I can just feel Phil thinking: “damn, this Kimberly woman looks FINE!”.

Anyway, your basic WPT interview, but this time with a goodlooking interviewer. WIN WIN SITUATION BABY! :D

“The Poker Brat Phil Hellmuth talks about losing over half a million dollars to the ever so lucky Phil Ivey in a chinese poker game playing for one (and later on two) thousand dollars per point. Now, anyone who knows the game of Chinese poker a tiny bit knows that’s a huge amount of cash to be playing chinese for — resulting in Phil pretty much offloading a house there…”
